We are a small team of applied chemists and software engineers who got tired of explaining shear-thinning and shear-thickening behavior with static textbook diagrams. Liqui PlopPlop grew out of lab whiteboard sketches and one too many arguments about whether ketchup is technically "lazy" — it turned into a full simulator because the concepts deserved something you could actually touch.
Our mission is simple: make the strange, counter-intuitive physics of complex fluids intuitive. Non-Newtonian behavior governs everything from blood flow to drilling mud to molten polymers, yet it is rarely taught with tools that let you feel the cause and effect. We build the tool we wished we had in grad school.

Short version: we built a simulator, not a data pipeline.
Liqui PlopPlop was designed from the ground up as a fully offline scientific instrument. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means for you and your data.
We collect nothing. Liqui PlopPlop does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email to function, and does not gather usage analytics, device identifiers, crash logs, or telemetry of any kind. The simulations, fluid models, and calculations you run stay on your device and never reach us.
Since no information is collected, none is used, analyzed, profiled, or sold. There is no advertising engine inside the app and no behavioral tracking of any kind — your rheology experiments are yours alone.
Any inputs you enter — shear rates, consistency indices, saved sample presets, or custom fluid models — are stored locally on your own device only. Nothing is synchronized to a cloud service, and we do not operate servers that store your simulation data.
Liqui PlopPlop does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or external trackers. The app runs its physico-chemical engine independently, without relaying data to outside services.
Because your calculations and models never leave your device, there is no transmission to intercept and no remote database to secure. The app's local-only architecture is itself the security model.
Liqui PlopPlop does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. As no data collection occurs for any user, there is nothing to gather regardless of age, in line with COPPA principles.
There are no accounts to manage and no remote profile to delete. If you wish to remove all locally stored presets and simulation history, simply uninstall the app — this clears everything Liqui PlopPlop ever stored on your device.
If our approach to privacy ever changes, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. We do not anticipate this, since local-only operation is core to how the simulator is built.
